Options:
- Front Break Bar - The full width round bar with tapered ends fitted to the front of the unit acts as a protection against damage from bricks, boulders and other debris. This bar also helps guide the vegetation into the machine for a more controlled cut.
- Mulching Cutter Bar - This serrated strip of metal fits on the underside of the quad mower and is positioned in such a way that allows the cutting blades to mulch the grass to a fine finish, speeding up the decomposition process.
- Engine Auto Idle - This Honda upgrade has a simple toggle switch that is fitted to the same control box that houses the safety kill button. This control box has an extension cable which mounts onto the rear rack of the vehicle. The switch allows the operator to change the engine speed from full revs to idle and vice versa to avoid getting on and off the quad bike constantly, useful for fire-break and moorland mowing.
- Twin Wheel Axle - When the ground is very wet and boggy the twin "walking beam" axle is an absolute 'must', specially when mowing reeds.
- Centre Mounted Engine -This mount position balances the mower, ensuring greater stability and therefore safety for the operator, specially when used on steep, sloping terrain.
- Forged Hammer Flails or Blades - Upgrading to hammer flails is required for tougher mowing duties. The hammer flails provide a cleaner cut when paddock topping grass, and their weight improves performance when cutting through thick clumps of vegetation.
